Entry into China shall be denied byborder inspection authorities in accordance with law to foreignnationals who travel for purposes that do not meet the visa waiverrequirements or who are not allowed to enter China in accordancewith laws and regulations. It is recommended to take documents suchas invitation letters, air tickets and reservations ofaccommodation as a proof corresponding to the purposes of entryinto China. Visa waiver does not apply to those who come to Chinafor work, study, journalistic or alike purposes.
